Moreland Energy Foundation promotes greenhouse action
Moreland, VIC, Australia: MEFL is a founding member of the new Northern Alliance for Greenhouse Action. N.A.G.A. has been operating since 2002 as an informal network that shares information, coordinates Councils' community based emission reduction activities and cooperates on the research and development of innovative corporate emissions projects.
MEFL is an independent not-for-profit organization established by the Moreland City Council to help reduce greenhouse gas emissions across the municipality. For the NAGA project MEFL coordinates 9 City councils in projects to reduce emissions.
EnTechneVision has been with MEFL since the beginning... from the humble first "informational" website, to the current new site's array of dynamic Services offered by this successful organization. The new NAGA "micro-site" mirrors the MEFL site but directs NAGA-specific information directly to the coordinator.
We have developed tools for Administration, anti-SPAM emailing of staff, and Content Management from Canada, which are managed by MEFL staff from the server in Australia.
As well, many of the visitors are English-as-a-second-language, so easy usability and color coordination help make visiting the MEFL site as "friendly" as visiting the staff.
